SaltDogg has 6 Tailgate Spreader models available for both residential and commercial use. These Spreaders have capacities that range from 4.41 cu ft. / 331 lbs. up to a massive 11 cu ft. / 825 lbs.
All 6 models also feature a 12-volt DC motor, Broadcast Design w/ a 9" Poly Spinner, Variable Speed Control (except the entry level residential model), Polyethylene / Steel construction, and require a Class 4 Receiver (the entry model will also fit a Class 3 Receiver). Swenson Spreaders
Tailgate Sreaders
Swenson Spreaders are designed to be used with light pickups to 3/4 ton trucks with receiver mounted hitches and are available with a 350 and 750lb capacity. These models also have a powerful 1/2 hp direct drive electric motor, and will handle a variety of materials including virtually all bagged materials.

Heavy-Duty Under Tailgate & Tailgate Replacement Spreaders
Swenson also has a line of Heavy Commercial Tailgate Replacement Spreaders and Under Tailgate Spreaders for large heavy-duty trucks. These models require 15,000 GVW + dump bodies to be mounted to, and and allow you to convert the entire bed of a dump truck into storage area for your sand or salt.

Henderson Spreaders
Henderson Manufacturing carries some of the heaviest Salt Spreaders on the market. Their are two main lines of Henderson Tailgate Spreaders available to suit you needs.
The Henderson TGS tailgate spreader is designed to fit most standard and utility dump bodies and attaches in minutes without the use of special tools. There's plenty of flexibility to meet the conditions with individual hydraulic spinner and auger motors controlled from the cab. The unit doesn't interfere with normal hauling or dumping operations so it can stay mounted all season long, ready for instant duty.
The Henderson RTS is designed to fit most one-ton dump bodies including bolting right on the Henderson line of Mark Three and Mark Four dump bodies. Henderson used many of the TGS spreader features in the RTS design, providing the best value spreader in the industry.
